Yesterday evening, the House Budget Committee voted "yes" on Budget Committee Chairman Allen Icet's amendment to restore the Compulsive Gambling program to its full 2009 funding level of $499,745.

Provident appreciates your strong efforts in communicating with legislators about this important issue.  Continued advocacy efforts will be important as the budget process proceeds.

It’s important to remember, nothing is final until the Governor approves and signs the budget later this spring.
