ProvidentEAP provides an array of services to identify and meet the behavioral health challenges faced by work and school organizations and their members. Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Eligible members of these programs may access a Provident Counseling clinician on a pre-paid basis; the employer pays the fees. Members receive a comprehensive behavioral health evaluation, short-term counseling and referrals, as needed, to resolve their problem. Additionally, ProvidentEAP personnel provide consultation regarding immediate behavioral health concerns identified by the employee, the organization's supervisors or others in the work place. Crisis intervention, job performance consultation and review of behavioral health aspects of Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) are also examples of services provided. Student Assistance Program (SAP) Student Assistance Programs provide professional counselors to local school districts on a pre-paid basis; the school pays the fees. This program allows local school districts to offer assessment, counseling and referral services to students who experience emotional, behavioral or academic problems at school. The student must be referred by school personnel, typically a school counselor, teacher, school nurse or principal. The school district and Provident Counseling customize a plan specifically for the district. Behavioral Risk Management© For some organizations, behavioral issues such as team conflict, sexual harassment allegations and psychiatric disability present barriers to effective group performance. Behavioral Risk Management© starts with a review of the organization's written and supervisory approach to critical workplace behavioral risks, such as sexual harassment, ADA concerns and change management. Areas with the greatest risk for an organization are rapidly assessed for intervention, action planning and measurement of outcomes. Management determines actions and priorities and an implementation plan is developed. Emotional Quotient Inventory™ This process creates group and individual feedback on objective ratings of emotional intelligence, such as assertiveness, empathy, self-awareness, problem solving, flexibility, reality testing, independence, interpersonal relationships, stress tolerance, social responsibility, optimism and impulse control. Individuals use this information to plan changes in their professional and personal development. Group profiles can aid an organization in building more effective teams. Work/Life This is a benefit employers provide their employees and family members. Work/life services offer employees a variety of services and resources to assist them in their day-to-day management of work and family/life needs.
