Provident’s Access Center has once again started serving clients at the downtown office through same-day appointments on a sliding scale fee. They’ve also created a new partnership with SSM DePaul’s Urgent Care that connects with people who need behavioral health services.

“We are doing all appointments virtually, but clients can also come to our office and use wifi-enabled equipment to speak with the clinical staff if they are unable to due to lack of technology resources in the home. It’s a great way to serve people who don’t have insurance or who need to talk with a therapist immediately,” said LaTanya Mackey, who oversees the two student clinicians who are providing care at the Access Center.
