Provident clinician Alex Richards recently shared her expertise with the St. Louis Post-Dispatch in an article about teen mental health during COVID-19.

“One of the biggest things I’ve seen is the challenges brought on by remote learning,” Richards said in the article. She discussed how it requires more self-discipline while students have less structure and social support.

She also shared advice for helping teens who are struggling, including tips on active listening, setting routines, and reaching out to professionals.
